Brian Cronin – MPT, CSCS. Brian earned his BA from the University of Washington and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Brian is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist and specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, and sports training. Brian combines his unique sports medicine education, his sports background as a player and coach, and his passion for the game to provide cutting-edge therapy and performance training. Brian has been an adjunct professor teaching in EWU’s Physical Therapy Department since 2007. Brian has provided community educational talks to Washington Trust Bank, SNAP, Wa. State Dept. of Transportation, Leadership Spokane, SYSA, Washington State Employees Credit Union and Washington Alliance for Physical Education. Mike Nilson – CSCS, LPSN. Mike graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Business and recently completed his Masters in servant leadership at Gonzaga. He is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Gonzaga University Bulldogs. He played basketball for Gonzaga’s Elite 8 and Sweet 16 teams, earning WCC Defensive Player of the Year and All-Academic Team honors. In 2009, he completed a 40-week mentorship program in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. Mike is a licensed sports nutritionist and has been an adjunct professor for Gonzaga University since 2010, teaching health, human movement, and nutrition classes. Aaryn Hieb – DPT. Aaryn received her undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University, where she played collegiate tennis. She completed her doctorate of physical therapy at the University of Southern California. Aaryn is our downtown clinic’s physical therapist manager. Amber Nelson – MPT, OCS, ATRIC. Amber earned her BS at Washington State University, where she also competed for the WSU swim team and was honored as a NCAA All American Academic Athlete. She then earned her Masters in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Amber has combined her passion for swimming and rehabilitation by becoming aquatic therapy certified and has been working in aquatic therapy since 2002. She is also certified through the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Specialist an elite certification held by less than 5% of physical therapists. Amber specializes in manual orthopedic therapy and aquatic therapy. Ryan Hite – DPT, CSCS, USAT 1. Ryan Hite joined U District PT in August of 2011. Prior to joining the U District team, he owned and operated Hite Performance, his own strength and conditioning business for 5 years. Ryan’s has held previous strength and conditioning positions in the NBA, WNBA, and the NCAA at the Division 1 level. Throughout his career, Hite has worked with youth, NCAA All-Americans, professional athletes, and Olympic gold medalists. He received his doctorate degree in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University and is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Washington. Ryan is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist and a personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In 2005, he received his level 1 coach certification from USA Triathlon. Ryan also serves on the Washington State Board of Directors for the NSCA and speaks at numerous conferences and workshops. Jill Walling – Jill is the front office coordinator at U-District and also helps with our foundation camps. She has been with U-District since 2006. She is most likely one of the first people you will come in contact with at U-district either by phone or in person. Amber Pittman – BS. Amber graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor of Science in Education and was a four year starter and All Big 12 soccer player for the Tigers. Amber is part of the U-District team front office. |

Lisa Tenner – Lisa graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Business Administration, minor Entrepreneurship. She has been with us since November of 2010 and is the Office Coordinator at the Liberty Lake office. |

Travis Knight – M.Ed, CSCS, CPT, USAW. Travis heads U-District’s Personal Training programs. He played baseball at Gonzaga University and earned his bachelors degree in physical education. He completed his graduate degree in exercise science from Wichita State University and did a graduate internship with the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Kansas State University. He has been a personal trainer for 10 years and is responsible for the training of men’s basketball at Gonzaga. |

Brandon Blank– Brandon Blank – CSCS, TPI-FP3. Brandon is a Gonzaga University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Brandon is our Director of Golf Performance and he currently runs the U-District 3D Performance LAB in the Warehouse Performance Center next to our downtown location. Before joining U-District Brandon reached the highest level of the Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Track. Soon after that he completed the K-VEST 3D Biomechanics Level 1 course and has been using the 3D sensor technology to train rotational athletes to be explosive and pain free. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Brandon has team up with our medical team at U-District and PGA professionals in the northwest to best serve golfer’s performance needs through swing instruction, biomechanics, fitness, medical treatment, and nutrition. golf@udistrictpt.com |

Nick Carlone -CSCS. Nick is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is from Redmond, Washington and graduated with a BS in exercise science from Eastern Washington University. He specifically works as the strength coach at Gonzaga Prep High School and specializes in speed and agility development. Along with working at Gonzaga Prep he has added training at Gonzaga University to his resume. He is also involved in the U-District Foundation providing local schools with PE programs. Katie McCaffery – CSCS, NSCA-CPT. Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University. As a Personal Trainer, Katie trains small groups, one on one, and adult fitness classes such as Functional Fitness, High Intensity Cross Training and Recess. She also specializes in Sports Performance Training for youth athletes. Katie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition to her involvement in the U-District Foundation, Katie loves to run, backpack and Mt. Bike in her free time. Katie has been a member of the U-District team since 2005. Chad Chambers – BS, CSCS. Chad earned his BS in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University with a minor in coaching. He is currently working toward completing his masters in Exercise Science. He played 2 years of basketball and 2 years of track at Clark College in Vancouver WA. At Clark he was the captain of both teams and excelled in the high jump and 400 as a 2 time All-American. Chad then transferred to Eastern for his last 2 years of track where he high jumped 6’11″ and was ranked 31st in the nation. Sarah Michaelson – BS, CSCS. Sarah Michaelson graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2005. She also played on the women’s soccer team for four years. After graduating Sarah spent a season playing professional soccer in Sweden’s top women’s league, the Damallsvenskan. She is currently a sports performance trainer as well as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Gonzaga University Athletics. Sarah attained her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Sarah has been a member of the U-District team since 2006. Chris Hawley – MS, ATC, CSCS. Chris earned his BS from Linfield College and MS from EWU. He holds certifications as both an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist. Chris’ primary responsibility is providing sports medicine coverage for Gonzaga Prep. In addition Chris also serves as one of the Sports Trainers, assisting with various camps throughout the year. Carmen Kaatz – BS, CSCS, LMP Carmen has participated in several sports including gymnastics, soccer and track & field, specializing in pole vault at University of Hawaii-Manoa. In addition to attending University of Hawaii, Carmen received her Massage Therapy training at Central Oregon Community College and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. She currently is a nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has her massage licenses in Oregon and Washington. She works with all ages in all levels of fitness. Her unique blend of knowledge with massage and personal training helps her clients receive maximum benefits in every session.

Jeremi DelCampo – Jeremi is a PT aide at our Liberty Lake clinic. He is currently attending Spokane Falls Community College to complete his AA Degree. Jeremi is also an ice hockey official for USA Hockey, Hockey Canada, and the Western Hockey League. |
